Event : "Afternoon Tea" at Coach Spring2014 Event at St. Regis

Last week, I was invited to attend "Coach" Spring 2014 preview event at St.Regis located in the heart of Bangkok, Thailand. If you remember one of the posts from 2013, I also took part in mini afternoon tea party hosted by Coach at Siam Paragon, however, this time they held the event in such a magnificent afternoon tea party in a luxurious bar lounge on the 12th floor at this stylish yet splendid hotel. Therefore, an hour here was well-spent by not only yummy desserts, but the beautiful view of Bangkok also.

I liked the fact that Pacifica Elements, a fast growing company of fashion retails in Thailand who distributes those well-known brands such as Coach, Camper, Kenneth Cole, Keds and etc, designed the event in such a warm and cozy vibe. They combined the environment together like an "East meets West" because they fused the lavishness of New Yorker's style with traditional afternoon tea of British. And I loved that because I love fashion, food and modern decorations surrounded in this space. Well, I couldn't decided which sweets to try first because they all looked tempting! As well as, champagne and earl grey, I really didn't know which to sip first.

My A-listed items are so varied, but my most ''must-have'' item is Gingham bag which Coach has mixed the gingham print with soft palettes like pink or blue. For me, the bag can be a very versatile one because you can bring it anytime and anywhere. Moreover, you are also able to put loads of your items and gadgets in the bag without losing the shape of the design due to high-quality of the material Coach always select for customers. Oh! and you know that this season, the pointed shoes are quite on trend too. That is why I constantly fall in love with Wilma <3

Oh! Alice why you so hardcore? x Chicnova

The month of love has been well spent by a part of this awesome top sent from Chicnova, a well-known online shopping store for everyone who loves street fashion. Despite a small trouble of shipping, I was so thrilled to receive this Alice, but in my favourite hardcore version "YEA #thequinoxfashion loves #streetstyleclothing"

I love toying the items in my wardrobe, and everyday is my creativity, however, wearing oversized t-shirt with mini skirt and ankle boots is one of my preferable outfit of all time. I am pretty chillax and down to earth kinda person, so putting these selected clothes on my body make me feel even relaxed yet energetic. I have two degrees of street style outfit; First is a super unique or masculine pieces for special occasions such as fashion event or photo shoot days. And second is just a simple outfit for everyday look.

I quite love it simple actually.

Thank you Chicnova for such a cool top!

Life Through Polaroid with Kimono Top from Missguided

I felt a glimpse of Japanese vibe while I was wearing this kimono jacket from Missguided, one of my favourite online shopping stores of all time. And Japan, oh yes I really want to go back there again and again in order to eat super amazing yummy dishes (ramen, tempura, sushi, teppanyaki and etc) and explore the beauty of this country. I have so many plans in mind, however, I am just a girl with the last minute decision...

I really want to set my feet off to Osaka, but well I am applying to Manchester Metropolitan University for a Master Degree in international fashion marketing at the moment, so I need to be aware of my saving. Later then またな日本!!Actually, I have been thinking like repeating my thoughts 100 times about what I really want to study after bachelor one. I love designing clothes, and innovative design course sounds awesome too! Anyway, marketing would be more versatile towards any kinds of fashion businesses. For the sake of elevating my blog to be the company in the long run, MA would be the right choice for now. Can't wait to go back to UK, but this time is not gonna be London, but Manchester baby.

One day, I was randomly checking out Missguided since I heard that something was on sale oh well.. lol Then I came across this pink kimono jacket, so I was like "omg i wanna get this!" I don't have colourful items that much, but having a few would def going to boost the energy in my wardrobe.

This look was taken at Siam Square, Bangkok, Thailand <3

The Equinox Fashion X Lovelyshoes.net (Hello Kitty)

Wearing Hello Kitty blouse sent from Lovelyshoes.net makes my Valentine's Day even more special since the vibrant palettes of the design is just right for February.

Last month I got an offer from Lovelyshoes.net A shopping online which i really had fun picking the favourite shoes of the month. The website provides wide variety of products not only shoes but also fashion clothing and accessories such as boots, wedges, maxi dresses, bags and etc. However, I found it was really entertaining while choosing the "yes" product because there were so many pairs that I would love to review on my blog included normal heels and pumps. However, being normal is quite boring, I decided to get the spiky one in order to match with the style of The Equinox Fashion.

In this look, I mixed and matched the outfit with Hello Kitty top and leatehr skirt from New Look, also spiky platform. Surprisingly, I got the skirt from teenage section, even though, I am in the age of 20s. I couldn't find the right size for me while i was at the store in Huddersfield, so i tried my best to look around again and again.

And eventually found it!

*For those who want to buy this Hello Kitty, there are red and green options offered. So feel free to check it out.

Interview with "Taylor Morris Eyewear"

Personally, sunglasses is more than just a toy, but an "art" itself.

I have collected wide variety of photos taken with the lens, including photo shoots and brands' collaborations because I am just a sunnies lover. I've purchased a broad range of eyewears for many years and now there are approximately 20 pairs so far (so good). I bring them out from the shelf and take them out everywhere, so I can create some artistic photos anytime I want. From my experience in this industry, sunglasses is not just about a fashion trend but it is about #LifeThroughTheLens. Memories can be interpreted through the crystal clear lens yet life behind those photographs can be even more reminiscent. There always be a story behinds our own vision and perspective, isn't it?

"The one taken while I was on the way to Edinburgh"

From the passion in blogging to the sphere of eyewear industry, I had such a great opportunity to interview Hugo Taylor, co-founder of  "Taylor Morris Eyewear" Independent British design house which has become a leading brand known  for their distinguished designs with the highest quality materials.

"The Taylor Morris mission was simple; provide their clients with the highest possible quality at the most competitive price as well as bringing back beauty, sophistication and individuality with a collection that will remain timeless and most importantly wearable over future decades" says Taylor Morris Eyewear

1)     Tell me a bit about Taylor Morris Eyewear, as well as, the designers' background

Taylor Morris is an Independent British brand established in 2013 by co-founders Hugo Taylor and Charlie Morris. Hugo and Charlie, having worked together in Marketing and Public Relations for large number of London’s top restaurant and nightlife establishments, turned their attention to their shared passion of high quality luxurious eyewear.

2)     What's the inspiration to design the sunglasses?

Hugo and Charlie were inspired in their debut collection to combine British sartorial elegance and timeless Hollywood glamour. Having trawled through numerous images of their favourite screen, stage and fashion icons such as Jack Nicholson, Bridgette Bardot, Audrey Hepburn and St McQueen, they looked to modernise the shapes and combine them with top quality materials sourced from only the most reputable suppliers. The acetate for example is from Mazzuchelli in Italy, a producer of the finest hand crafted acetate operating since 1851. Hugo and Charlie debut collection for Taylor Morris Eyewear is chic, stunning and purposely enduring, designed to transcend fashion trends and remain both beautiful and smart.

3)     What's the plan for future growth for Taylor Morris Eyewear?

Taylor Morris Eyewear having launched directly in Harvey Nichols plans to grow into a staple of British Design. The brands ambition is to be the leading UK eyewear supplier but also has future aspirations to diversify the product range into other high quality accessories.

4)     Who's the targeted customers of the brand?

Taylor Morris has a broad target customer. We have seen over the past months that our age and style of customer does not fit into an exact mould. We personally like to target customers who are enthusiastic about craft and design. We see a trend emerging that our customers are both discerning and sophisticated in their choice of brand. We fully understand at Taylor Morris that should you be covering the natural beauty of your eyes, then one must have the suitable pair of glasses to do so. We have a strong following in the UK, a fact illustrated by the high number of globally recognised British stars who have been wearing them, including Cara Delevinge, Rita Ora, Suki Waterhouse, James Blunt, Jamie Campbell Bower and Nicole Scherzinger.

Vintage accessories X Mr. Curtis Designs (+giveaway)

Inspired by Tattoo, Mr. Curtis Designs has become one of my favourite vintage brands not only just about the personal passion for tattoo, but also his artwork is really unique from any others

I have seen wide variety of sparkling accessories, but Mr. Curtis Design reminds me of something which combines with the words "fun and creative" Thus, I had an opportunity to collaborate with the brand, as well as, interviewed Matt, the man behind these cool accessories too. Two necklaces were sent to me from UK a few weeks ago, and of course one for me and one for you :)

First of all, let's get to know about Matt and his designs, shall we?

1) Tell me a bit about Mr.Curtis Designs and yourself Mr Curtis designs is fairly new company from the UK, we've been trading for about 6 months now, mostly on the internet but also at the occasional vintage fair. Most of what we do is based on popular tattoo imagery, and tea! 2) What's the inspiration when making the accessories? I'm a full time tattooist so I'm fairly clued up on what's happening in world of tattoo designs. I try to base my designs around the current trends and themes within tattooing. Just now that's very much about vintage kitsch, afternoon tea and anything Victoriana style. 3) What's the plan for future growth for the brand itself ? We aim to keep adding to the jewellery range, we're also expanding the product range into ceramics (mugs) and t-shirts. We hope to add even more products this year, bags, purses and books etc. The brand incorporates my tattoo designs as well and some of the finished tattoos appear on the Mr Curtis Designs Facebook page. 4) Who's the targeted customer of the brand? Our target customers are anyone of any age who want something with tattoo-style and perhaps just a little bit different. Currently, we sell the Mr Curtis Designs range from our Etsy shop which gives us a world-wide market. Our jewellery has been sent all over the world already, from America to Scandinavia to Australia.
