Wearing a dress is normal, but finding the right one shows your personality.
90s black tank top, huge floppy hat, handy fringe bag, as well as, some other street fashion clothing items are what you, my readers and followers always see, be inspired and recommended. However, there are so many special occasions and festivals coming up during November and December, this special post is dedicated as a big transformation from my signature street style vibe to such a sweet look by Ruby Prom dress.
Ruby Prom, UK based designer team sent "Bethany Dress" to me last week. "WOW" since the very first glance because I had never expected to wear such an adorable yet glam like this before. The designer of the brand, Amanda has adjusted some alterations of the dress in order to perfect fit for me as she said " I would hate for you to get the dress and it not fit as it should"
Not only Chiffon is my favourite garment but I'm also a fan of sweet pastel colours, and Bethany Dress is just right. Its Mermaid colour tone goes well with my skin tone, also my ombre hair. It even brightens my skin, even though, mine is not really white. Once in a while, wearing the right dress expresses another side of me which you might have never seen before :)
To get to know more about Ruby Prom, here is the interview with Amanda, the brand designer.
1.) Can you tell me a bit background about Ruby Prom, as well as, designers of the brand?
Ruby Prom was started about 5 years ago by my mum and I, My mum has a has always been a bridalwear designer and we wanted to move into Prom and eveningwear dresses, focusing on hand detailing and excellent construction like you would find in bridal gowns. I am the main designer for the brand Im 27 and have always grown up around dresses, Michele is the other designer (whos my mum) and she used to designer and manufacture in Nottingham so I grew up around making dresses. My mum used to offer a complete bespoke service for gowns. My mums background other than her own brand is in history of fashion and fabric design - so most of her gowns were made in fabric she designed herself, mainly laces and hand painted silks.
2.) What's your inspiration when designing dresses?
Our inspiration comes from everywhere, fashionable colours on the catwalk, celebrities especially Redcarpet the oscars etc taking small details and trying to adapt them to make them more commercial. Or we want to create a floaty dress with low back and we play around with fabrics and shapes on a maniquin until we are happy.
Plan for hte future - we have launched a new brand called Ruby Rebel which is more high street ready to wear. we have also expanded our Prom range into eveningwear - see our new Lola and Sienna styles on our website. We also Have been trying to dress celebrities for events etc to gain more exposure as well as working with bloggers like yourself who communicate directly with their audience in a more real way ( that I think girls like more than just advertising).
Have a great week <33
